老舍先生对祥子沉沦的悲剧人生的描写,多角度揭示了旧中国黑暗社会的矛盾和腐朽统治下扭曲的人性。祥子背负的是三重悲剧意义:黑暗腐朽的社会悲剧;个体劳动者的性格悲剧;畸形婚姻的精神悲剧。探究原因,一方面,旧社会的逼迫和虎妞的诱骗是造成他的悲剧的客观原因;另一方面,他的小农意识和个人奋斗的理想则是导致悲剧的一个主观诱因。
