Decorative patterns play an important role in fashion design, whose combination of color and element design can not only bring people visual enjoyment, but show personality through decorative patterns.In the long history of the development of garments, decorative patterns follow the political, economic and cultural development of the times and have been sublimated and innovated.In the design conception, the sewing technique, the use of elements and so on, all are showing the wisdom and aesthetic art of human.This article focuses on the application of decorative patterns in apparel design, enriching the methods and materials of fashion design.And the design elements are analysed and classified simply.The purpose is to bring valuable reference and design inspiration to the people in the industry and express the charm of the times with more personality through skillful use.
