本文以安乐哲、郝大维所译《道德经》为例,阐释哲学视域下的典籍英译研究。首先,把《道德经》置于中国自然宇宙观的大背景中,以德与道的点域理论来解读道家的关联宇宙观,以把握哲学性典籍的本质属性。其次,从关联宇宙观和过程哲学角度解读《道德经》的文本,并对其关键术语英译进行阐释,诸如"道""德""天""无为"等。最后基于译文文本揭示安乐哲的典籍英译观,包括"语言群"概念的提出,动名词的运用、类比在哲学和文化翻译中的运用等。

This paper focuses on the interpretation and translation of Dao De Jing by Roger Ames and David Hall,which at the same time sets an example for the Chinese Classics translation.Firstly,the Daoist cosmology,the traditional Chinese natural cosmology,is illustrated via the focus and field theory. In this way,the original text is philosophy-oriented.Secondly,the process philosophy,which is closely related to the Dasoist cosmology,is adapted to the interpretation and translation of Dao De Jing,such as the translation of "Dao","De ","Tian","Wu Wei"and so on.Lastly,Roger Ames' translation perspective is exposed on the basis of his translated texts of some Chinese Classics,which includes the application of the "language group",the gerund and the analogy in his translation work.
