为了去除石英砂中杂质,采用色选法对-20~+140目、-20~+60目、-60~+100目和-100~+140目石英砂进行了提纯实验。结果表明,通过色选,4种不同粒度石英砂中杂质含量均明显降低,杂质去除率跟石英砂的粒度均匀性、颗粒大小及色选次数有关;粒度均匀的-20~+60目、-60~+100目和-100~+140目石英砂杂质去除率高于-20~+140目石英砂,粒径最粗的-20~+60目石英砂杂质去除率高于其他3种粒度的石英砂;二次色选后4种不同粒度石英砂杂质去除率接近最大值。以上研究表明,色选法能有效降低石英砂中杂质含量,其中-20~+60目石英砂经三次色选后杂质含量降幅最大,为14.70%。
Abstract:To remove impurities from quartz sand,a color selection method was employed to purify quartz sand with particle sizes of-20~ +140 mesh,-20~ +60 mesh,-60~ +100 mesh,and-100~+140 mesh.The results showed that impurity content in four particle size ranges was significantly reduced through color selection.The impurity removal rate was related to the particle size uniformity,particle size,and number of color selection passes.The-20~+60 mesh,-60~+100 mesh,and-100~+140 mesh quartz sands with more uniform particle sizes exhibited higher impurity removal rates than the-20~+140 mesh quartz sand.The coarsest-20~+60 mesh quartz sand achieved the highest impurity removal rate among the four particle sizes.After secondary color selection,the impurity removal rates for four particle sizes approached their maximum values.The above research indicated that the color selection method can effectively reduce the impurity content in quartz sand,with the-20~ +60 mesh quartz sand showing the greatest reduction of 14.70% after three rounds of color sorting.
