目前,高校英语专业教学的重要学科之一——英美文学课程逐渐被实用型课程边缘化,传统的教学方式对学生的吸引力逐渐减弱。英美文学课程作为英语专业必修课程,其跨学科研究的特性为高校人文素质教育提供了重要平台。引入认知叙事学理论可以为英美文学教学提供新的视角和方法,帮助学生深入认知作品人物和叙事艺术的同时,建立正确的价值观,并为教师探索英美文学教学新思路提供启示。
Abstract:English and American literature,one of the most important subjects of college English teaching,has been increasingly marginalized at present. In addition,the traditional teaching methods diminished the appeal to college students. As compulsory for English majors,English and American literature courses play an important role in the quality-oriented education among all the university students. By introducing the theory of cognitive narratology,this paper aims to provide the students with a new perspective and new approach for studying English and American literature,helping them deeply understand the characters and narrative art and build correct life outlook and values,as well as explicating the enlightenment of English and American literature teaching for the teachers.
