生态翻译理论认为,原文、译者、读者等要素构成翻译生态环境,在翻译生态环境中,译者(被)适应选择贯穿整个翻译过程,通过事后追惩,译者(译文)接受翻译生态环境的选择,译者与翻译生态环境相互选择适应。本文将以葛浩文翻译的《生死疲劳》为研究对象,探究在生态翻译环境中,以译者为代表的翻译主体要素如何适应选择、翻译生态环境如何选择适应译者(译文)的翻译整个过程。

Eco-translation theory believes that such elements as source text,the translator and the reader constitute the ecological environment of translation in which the translator adapts to or is adapted to choose to go through the whole process of translation; the translator or the translation accepts the choice of ecological environment of translation; the translator and the ecological environment of translation choose and adapt each other.This paper takes the English version of Life and Death Fatigue translated by Ge Haowen as the object of study exploring the whole process of translation of how the translation subject elements represented by the translator adapt to choose and how ecological environment chooses to adapt to the translator or the translation in the ecological environment of translation.
