谭恩美凭借《喜福会》获得了"全美图书奖"等一系列文学大奖,并以此奠定了她在文学界的声誉。运用后殖民女性主义解读谭恩美的经典著作《喜福会》,从种族和阶级的角度切入,分析女性角色在不同时代所受的来自男权主义的压迫以及她们所做出的不懈努力和反抗,探究作品中女性自身从边缘化的"他者"形象逐步转变为"自我"的动态过程,意义深远。

Amy Tan won the"National Book Award"and a series of literary awards by the virtue of The Joy Luck Club,which settled her reputation in the literary world.This paper re-examines The Joy Luck Club written by Amy Tan and usespost-colonial feminismas perspective and race and gender as starting point to give interpretations on three aspects in the female role of marginalization,the sexual oppression and reconstruction of identity after introducingthe author and her work briefly.
