政府工作报告是典型的政治文件,其外宣翻译的质量将影响中国的国际形象和政治话语权建构。以生态翻译学为理论基础,结合实例分析和探讨《2020年政府工作报告》的英译策略与方法。研究发现,《2020年政府工作报告》的英译是较成功的政治外宣翻译。在翻译过程中充分体现了原语和译语在语言维、文化维和交际维的适应性选择转换;较好地遵守了生态翻译伦理涉及的"平衡和谐"和"译者责任"两大原则;重建翻译生态环境,使译语在目标语生态环境中长久地"存活"下去。

“Report on the work of the government” is a typical political document and the quality of its translation will affect China's international image and the construction of political discourse power.The paper analyzes and discusses the strategies and methods of translation for “Report on the Work of the Government in 2020” with examples based on the theory of Eco-translatology.It is found that the English translation of “Report on the Work of the Government in 2020” is China's relatively successful C-E Translation for global communication.In the process of translation, it has fully realized the adaptive and selective transition of source language and target language from linguistic, cultural and communicative dimensions.It properly follows the principle of “Balance and Harmony” and the principle of “Translator Responsibility” of the Eco-translation ethics.The Eco-translation environment should be rebuilt so that the translation language will “survive” in the ecological environment of target language for a long time.
